I've lived in Orlando for a year now & haven't found good Chinese takeout until I stepped into He Sheng. By far, the best Lo Mein I've ever had!! Highly recommend this place. The food was clean, filling, and NOT greasy at all. So delicious.
When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly people and an insanely clean restaurant.
If you need a sign to choose this place...this is it!! -

In my quest for a good Chinese takeout place in Orlando, I headed to He Sheng, located in the strip mall on the corner of University and Goldenrod.
Walking in I found it very spartan, honestly too much so, but I accept that a restaurant's food is not defined by its environment, especially when you are building an opinion on takeout.
I did inquire about an upcharge on swapping out my white rice for fried rice and was a put off when the girl behind the counter said that they would not do that, that I would have to purchase a fried rice separately.
The food was cheap, a whole box of food was about $45, more than enough for four. Unfortunately, it was bland and, at best, mediocre. I had the curry chicken, which should be very boldly seasoned, but it was an uninspired offering. Everyone else had similar complaints about their food.
This establishment was another disappointment in my search for New York style Chinese in the Orlando area. -

Fresh meals made to order. Never overly greasy like some Chinese restaurants. And very reasonably priced. Easy on the wallet even for a family of 6. Always plenty of leftovers for the next day lunch/dinner. We ordered general Tso's chicken, Bourbon chicken, chicken lomein, fried rice, and Krab Rangoons

It's been hard finding good Chinese food in Orlando. But this place is the one! I wanted to cheat on them today and find a new place, but my heart could not do it. The egg rolls are second best I've ever had. I ordered the wrong dish the first time, and my food was still good so please give this place a try. It's worth it.

Not super impressed with this place. The pricing is great and I guess you pay for what you get. I ordered the Singapore Chow Mei Fun which is my go to favorite entree. There wasn't enough curry or flavor at all. It's literally bland. There was also some burnt pieces in it that threw it off even more. I'm giving three stars because it's not inedible, I've just had better.
